President Soon-Heung Chang held a breakfast event to cheer up students.

Early on September 6^th, President Chang sent out the encouragement with breakfast to students in Handong. Students and President have made time conversing with each other over breakfast. 

President Chang said, “I’d like to encourage those who are going through frustration so that they can be cheered up again,”

And he added, “Students in Handong are very studious with the values of integrity, sincerity and challenge sprit. However, students with a high standard and passion occasionally get frustrated as they face challenges on their journey to achieve the goals.”  He also remarked, “Everyone does fall down and gets weary. Yes, it is important to pursue the goal with discernment of what’s right or wrong. However, it’s equally crucial to be back on the track again, recovered when we fall down. If we don’t get ourselves up again, we would eventually lose our goal that we were running after for in the first place.” President Chang also took time for any questions and suggestions from students. 

President of Handong Student Council Ji Hyun Do said, “This breakfast event was really encouraging to those who have been hard working or going through frustration. This event sends out the message to students that President is encouraging us students,” and added “Student Council will also do our best to serve students going through hard times.”
