- Handong Global University Invited Uzbek Interim Managers of Public Enterprises to Deliver Korea's Experiences in Economic Development and Management Strategies​

- Special lectures and Field visits to the major Korean companies and financial institutions ​

Handong Global University (President Soon-Heung Chang) invited one staff member from Republican Graduate School of Business and Management (RGSBM)  and 19 interim managers of government-owned corporation as part of UNESCO’s UNITWIN Project and progressed Global Business Expeditions in Korea (G-BEX Krea) that will share experience of Korea’s economic development and educate Korea’s advanced business management strategies. ​

Uzbek Joint Education Program is a short-term training program conducted by Handong Global University and RGSBM as a part of UNESCO UNITWIN program that invites students of cooperating universities to Korea for collective education. Interim managers participating in the program havel visited institutions that played significant role in Korea’s economic development, and learn the mind-sets of entrepreneurs and business management know-hows, and through group discussion held every night tried to find the driving force of Korea’s economic development and discuss the appropriate application plans for Uzbekistan. To enhance the understandings on Korea’s accounting market participants visited Bank of Korea, Korea Financial Investment Association, and other institutions that played significant role in Korea’s economic development and urban development, including Incheon Free Economic Zone, Kia Motor factory in Hwasung, Korea Institute of Aviation Safety, Hyundai Steel, Samsung Delight, and DDP.

On 17th, the last day, group presentations were held on how to apply what they have learned from visiting companies. Hyun-Mo Sung, professor in School of Management and Economics at Handong Global University said  “I hope that the interim managers of government owned corporation (GOC) attending the MBA program at the Uzbekistan Institute of Business Management expand their perspectives on the market economy through G-BEX, Korea and improve understandings of the driving force of Korea’s economic development, and hope this help Uzbekistan’s economic development and corporate management.” ​
