President Soon Heung Chang of Handong Global University attended 70th anniversary ceremony of Yanbian University, China and Northeast Asian Universities Presidents Forum from September 21th to 22nd

At the ceremony, president Chang celebrated the 70th anniversary of Yanbian University, and discussed about expanding of exchange and cooperation with Chinese universities.

At the Northeast Asian Universities President Forum hosted by Yanbian University, president Chang announced plan of development of higher education of Northeastern Asia, and highlited the need of innovation in college educataion compatible with the age of artificial intelligence.

Also president Change commented on the need of education that will increase students’ problem solving skills, and added “The most necessary ability for students in the future is problem solving skills. Through the process of finding and solving of problems of Northeast Asia, students can develop practical problem solving skills, and at the same time can solve problems of Northeast Asian countries creatively.”
