Handong University (President Soon-Heung Chang) has signed an agreement with Korea National University of Arts (President Bong-ryul Kim) for academic exchanges and cooperation.
The officials from both schools attended the signing ceremony held at the conference room of the university's Hyundong Hall on April 29.
Handong Global University and Korea National University of Arts agreed to work together to promote the development of the two schools through exchanges in education, research and community service. As a result, the two schools agreed to cooperate in areas such as ▲the interchange of professors: lectures, special lectures and seminars ▲exchange of students and mutual credits ▲exchange of academic information ▲ exchange of academic materials, publications and information ▲mutual use of facilities.

Bong-ryul Kim, the president of Korea National University of Arts said, "The exchange of credits is usually difficult, but we can make it work during the seasonal semester, and we will be able to find ways to complement each other," adding, "In particular, the whole world is discussing AI, and we are investing a lot in virtual reality and so on because of the benefits derived from the artificial intelligence. We will be getting a lot of such help," he said.
Soon-Heung Chang, president of HGU said, "I felt how Korea National University of Arts is a school that combines both literary sense and rational and academic aspects," adding, "There are certainly students with artistic sense in Handong University as well. We would also like to actively encourage students at our school to go and learn at Korea National University of Arts in the future," he said.
