Handong Global University (President Soon-Heung Chang) held the opening ceremony of "The 25th Anniversary of the University and the 1st Anniversary of the Late President Young-Gil Kim's Memorial Art Exhibition Invitation" at Grace Chapel in Kim Young-Gil GRACE School at 3 p.m. for 2 days.
This exhibition featured 35 artworks by 13 Christian artists, including Kwang-Won Lee on the topic of "The Prayer of the Dawn" and more.
Jin-Seok Park (Chairman of the Pohang Christian Church Association), Young-Moon Kim (President of Sunlin University), Seung-Dae Park (President of Pohang Cultural Center), Ok-Seok Song (head of Pohang Far East Broadcasting), and Doo-Cheon Kim (President of the Association of Christian Churches in Heunghae Region) were present to celebrate the opening ceremony.

President Soon-Heung Chang said in the opening ceremony, "We are grateful that Handong Global University has been able to continue to grow and develop with a lot of love and support over the past 25 years." He added, "We prepared this event to commemorate the late President Young-Gil Kim, who devoted 19 years of his life to the school since its opening."
Young-Moon Kim, president of Sunlin University, said, "We hope that this exhibition will raise the awareness to local Christians to a new level," and added, "I hope this will be a meaningful art exhibition."
Pastor Jin-seok Park, the head of the Pohang Christian Church Association, said in a congratulatory speech to the guests, "We expect Handong Global University to propose an alternative to education in the Republic of Korea," adding, "We sincerely congratulate on hosting this art exhibition invitation."
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the exhibition will be held online and offline at the same time until July 10. It was held at Handong Global University's Young-Gil Kim Grace School (IGE) Public Relations Hall (113) and visitors can enjoy the exhibition free of charge from 10 a.m. to 17:30 p.m. However, it will be closed on Sunday.
