Handong Global University (President Soon-Heung Chang) signed an agreement for mutual exchange and cooperation with Atomy Co. Ltd., (Chairman Han-Gill Park), a Global Network Marketing Corporation, at their headquarters in Gongju, Chungnam Province on August 12th, 2020.
In this signing ceremony, President Soon-Heung Chang of Handong Global University, Chairman Han-Gill Park of Atomy Co. Ltd., and other members of the two institutions joined the ceremony.
In accordance with this agreement, the two institutions vowed two things: A. Provision of Scholarship and operation of Internship Program through Industry-Academic Cooperation, and B. Provision of Career Seminar and others.
With this agreement, Handong Global University will receive a total scholarship of 250 million won over the term of 5 years, 50 million won to be awarded each year from Atomy Co. Ltd.
Atomy Co. Ltd. will provide Internship Programs to those that wish out of scholarship recipients and vow to cooperate in raising global talents.
During the signing ceremony, President Soon-Heung Chang of Handong Global University said, “I feel very thankful that students will receive various benefits through this agreement.” He added, “I hope that talented students of Handong Global University will maintain their Christian characteristic and play a great role in developing Atomy Co. Ltd. into a global company.”
Chairman Han-Gill Park of Atomy Co. Ltd. said, “Atomy has its doors wide open for talents that will lead the direct selling movement during the online era.” He added, “Through this signing ceremony, I hope that talented students of Handong Global University will take lead in global marketing with Atomy.”
Atomy Co. Ltd, found in 2009, is a global network-based marketing company in 14 countries, including the Republic of Korea. Their net profit was 1.5 trillion won including that of dietary supplements in 2019 alone, with 6 million global members worldwide.
