Handong Global University (President Soon-Heung Chang) signed a Memorandum of Exchange for mutual exchange and cooperation with YWAM University of Nations (Director Paul Childers) at Hyundong Hall of Handong Global University, on September 16th.
In the ceremony were various members of the two institutions, including President Soon-Heung Chang of Handong Global University and Director Paul Childers of YWAM University of Nations.
Through this agreement, the two universities have agreed to cooperate in the Exchange of Students, Exchange of Professors, Collaborative Research, and others.
Also, they have decided to seek various cooperative plans for the 2021 Korean World Mission Conference in the fields of Missionary Kids’ Work Cooperation, Independent Self-Guided Study Semester Student Exchange, Translation Internships, Participation of Short-term Missions by the Students, Raising of Christian University Missions’ Professors in Nigeria, and so on.
Through this agreement, the two universities will focus in vitalizing the fields of Education Training, World Missions, and International Development Cooperation.
In the ceremony, President Soon-Heung Chang of Handong Global University said, “Through this agreement, I hope that the exchange between the two universities will be vitalized even further.” He added, “I ask for help in preparing for the 2021 Korean World Mission Conference.”
YWAM University of Nations of Hawaii was established based on Biblical principles in 1978, and is equipped with various education programs in Christian Missions, Counseling & Welfare, Education, Science & Technology and others. There are approximately 15,000 students taking at least one course in 97 languages throughout 600 branches located in 142 countries worldwide.
