Handong Global University hosts the Fall 2020 Next Generation Entrepreneur Training

  • Program was held for students from 7 countries, including Mongolia, Japan, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan from November 20th ~ 21st.

Handong Global University (President Soon-Heung Chang)’s UNESCO UNITWIN Operation Team hosted the Next Generation Entrepreneurship Training (NGET) in Gyeongju, South Korea, from November 20th ~ 21st, 2020.

 

This NGET Program is part of the UNESCO UNITWIN operation, which helps the capacity establishment of the developing countries’ ability for sustainable development. This is an intensive education program on the topic of Entrepreneurship Promoting, Switching of Consciousness and Development of Entrepreneurship Capacity.

 

This NGET Program was participated by Professor Beom-Ha Ji, Keun-Bae Chang, Scott Lincoln of Handong Global University, in addition to Mr. Myung-Han Lee, Chairman of Xpanner Inc., and also had 25 students of the Global Management Department, ranging from the countries of Mongolia, Japan, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan to list some, to be educated on the theory of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Business Model Development.

Students that have participated, as a key person of the economic development, will develop a business item that can create social innovation, to present an actual business model, in addition to the feedback of the NGET Professors to finally present them on December 3rd, 2020.

 

Professor Keun-Bae Chang of Handong Global University, the hosting professor of this camp said, “Through this camp, GM Students of Handong Global University that came from Mongolia, Indonesia, and Japan etc., was able to experience deriving solutions to problems like the solitude problems of senior citizens in each country, the problems of supplying healthy food, such as meat and vegetables, and medical problems in the COVID-19 era, etc.” He added, “I hope that the students will be able to actually put this in action and not just stopping in the planning stage.”

 

Mr. Myung-Han Lee, Chairman of Xpanner Inc. said, “I was deeply moved by the students’ heart to contribute and wish for a new opportunity towards the world.” He added, “As a chairman of a start-up company, I obtained lot of ideas in editing my business model that I am currently operating.”
