Handong University (President Jang Soon-Heung), and E-Land Group signed a business agreement for business and technology cooperation on the 9th of this month.
Handong University President Soon-Heung Jang, Director of Industry-Academic Cooperation Jae-Young Lee, LINC+ Business Manager Chong-Sun Lee, School of Life Science Chairman Chang-Kee Hyun, School of Computer Science & Electrical Engineering Chairman Joon-Yong Lee, E-Land Chief Strategy Officer Hyung-Wook Choi, E-Land Head of New Business Strategy Division Heejo Lim and other officials from both organizations attended this agreement ceremony.
Through the business agreement, both institutions agreed to cooperate with each other through △ joint research and technical information exchange △ pharmaceutical, bio, AI, big data and computers including Internet of Things and furthermore decided to cooperate with each other through joint cooperation in the field of electronic engineering.
This service is provided through an application. It provides exercise time, food, ingredients, recommended functional health food and lifestyle curation. This application will be loaded in the newest ‘E-Land Pay’ which will be launched early next year.
At the agreement ceremony, President Jang Soon-Heung said, “I am very happy to have a meaningful time for the E-Land Group and Handong University to sign a business agreement for cooperation.” And also said, “We hope that this business agreement will enable the two organizations to closely communicate and resolve problems of food, clothing, and shelter in our society.”
E-Land Chief Strategy Officer Hyung-Wook Choi said, “As E-Land Group operates a variety of business groups necessary for the entire life cycle for the customer's food, clothing and shelter, there are endless areas that can create synergy with genome big data.” And also said, “Through this partnership with Handong University, we will build a new portfolio and furthermore reinforce our own content.”
