Handong Global University (President Soon-Heung Chang) held a joint curriculum workshop, from March 2nd, 2021 till April 2nd, 2021 for university students in various regions, including Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, Shandong University, and Dalian University of Finance and Economics (Northeast Gate) in China, and others to open a new chapter for joint curriculum and (local) community capacity enhancement.
In this workshop, a total of 81 students and professors, including Kee-Seon Yoo, Professor of School of Management & Economics at Handong Global University, Professor Won-Seop Lee, and Professor Su-Young Jang of Pohang University of Science and Technology, discussed the self-sustaining development of Mongolia under the theme of "New Product Development for Mongolia's Sustainable Development."
Students who participated in the workshop had time to consult professional faculty members with video lectures, learning a phased approach to developing new products and realizing social innovation items in Mongolia.

Munkhbayar Byambadash, President of University of Finance and Economics, Mongolia, said, "It is very meaningful that other researchers, students, and faculty from five different countries gathered together to develop new sustainable products." He especially expressed his gratitude to Handong Global University and South Korean participants.
Kee-Seon Yoo, a professor at Handong Global University, said, "I hope that young people in Mongolia will have a new perspective and vision for sustainable development through this online workshop."
In addition to Mongolian, Chinese, and Russian university students, the workshop was attended by various ministries and organizations, such as the Mongolian Ministry of Environment, the Local Government Unit (in tourism), private associations, local businessmen, and others.
