On the evening of April 7th (Fri), the University Church of Handong Global University (President Do-Soung Choi) held the Good Friday Service at the Chapel with Handong Global University students, faculty, and staff to meditate on Jesus’ crucifixion and discipleship.
According to the worship format of the early church, this service was conducted in three orders: the service of meeting, the service of the Word, and the service of sacrament. Confess Jesus' death on the cross, his love, and sacrifice through the Words of the Old Testament, the Psalms, the Epistles, and the Gospels, and participate in the body and blood of Jesus Christ through the sacrament. In particular, the worship of the Word consisted of reading the Words of the Old Testament, Psalms, Epistles, and Gospels together according to the Bible routine, confessing with praise, remembering the path Jesus walked, our responses, and moving toward the world.
