On May 26th, Handong Global University (President Dosoung Choi) signed an exchange agreement with Wheaton College of the United States.
Through this agreement, which extended the initial 2015 agreement, the two institutions agreed to deepen cooperation as Christian universities and continue collaborative efforts in, among others, student exchange programs.
The signing ceremony at Handong Global University was attended by President Dosoung Choi of Handong, President Philip Ryken of Wheaton, Vice President for Academic Affairs Hae-Kyeong Park, Vice President for Globalization Eric Enlow, and others.
Wheaton College is a Christian university established in 1860 in the State of Illinois. It is a prestigious university with notable alumni such as Pastor Billy Graham and a former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. Wheaton currently offers over 40 undergraduate and 18 master’s programs. Ever since the initial exchange agreement between Handong and Wheaton in 2015, the two institutions have continued to cooperate in various areas, including student and faculty exchange and choir exchange programs.

With this agreement, Handong and Wheaton plan to expand their exchange program and other areas of cooperation. President Choi of Handong Global University commented, “I hope that we will have more opportunities for cooperation through this agreement.”
President Philip Ryken of Wheaton College said, “We look forward to inviting many excellent students from Handong Global University.”
