The UNESCO UNITWIN Project Team at Handong Global University organized the joint camp, titled "Cambodia Joint Camp for Legislation: Legislative Solution for the World Without Borders," both online and offline on June 17th. This event, which was conducted as part of the UNITWIN Project to promote social problem-solving and regional development, was specifically designed to propose legislation that strengthens global cooperation beyond borders in the post-COVID-19 era and to enhance collaboration and networking among global cooperative universities for the joint education program in Cambodia.

A total of 32 participants, including professors, students, and graduate students from Handong Global University, the Royal University of Law and Economics, and Thammasat University, attended the joint seminar. Lectures were delivered on topics such as enhancing the ability to identify social issues and present mock legislation, discovering legislative challenges in ASEAN countries, conducting legislative education for proposing legislative challenges, and cultivating foundational design thinking for proposing mock legislation.

In particular, Professor Se-Mee Kim from Handong Global University introduced "the objectives and ideals underlying current laws and the hidden aspects of the law related to social issues," while Professor Phalthy Hap from the Royal University of Law and Economics presented a lecture on "Understanding the Hierarchical Structure of Cambodian Law." Professor Lasse Schuldt from Thammasat University expressed encouragement, saying, "I hope that through the mock legislation camp, students will discover social issues, propose legislative solutions, and improve their English skills."
