- Students currently enrolled as full-time undergraduate students at HGU's partner universities
- Students who have completed at least one year of studies in their Home Institution
- Students who are willing to follow HGU culture, code, and all relevant policies as provided in the Handong Pledge
- Student with an open mind to cultural differences
- GPA: At least 2.5 out of 4.5
- Language Proficiency: B1 ~ B2 level of English proficiency
* No official English test score is required. However, students are expected to take classes in English or Korean and should be sufficiently proficient for these purposes.

Students must be officially nominated by their Home Institution before the application procedure may begin.
The exchange program coordinator of your university or a staff member of a corresponding position should submit a nomination via email with the following information:
