Eligibility

- Students who have completed at least one year of studies in their Home Institution
- Students who are willing to follow HGU culture, code, and all relevant policies as provided in the Handong Pledge
- Student with an open mind to cultural differences
- GPA: At least 2.5 out of 4.5
- Language Proficiency: B1 ~ B2 level of English proficiency
- * No official English test score is required. However, students are expected to take classes in English or Korean and should be sufficiently proficient for these purposes.

Students from non-partner universities must first confirm with HGU whether they may participate in the visiting program.

2. Online Application

◇

Once the visiting program is confirmed with the HGU exchange program manager, the student will receive application guidelines from HGU via email.

The application consists of two main parts:

1. Online Application using Google Form

2. Submission of Required Documents

- Academic transcript (since freshman year)

- A scanned copy of the student's passport

* Should not be in photo form

- Recommendation Form

- Handong Pledge Form

- A photo of the student

3. Application Screening

◇

After a screening procedure by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), the results will be sent to students and their home institutions via email.

Students who are accepted will receive an Acceptance Letter along with further guidelines.

4. Visa Preparation

◇

All visiting students must hold a D-2 Student Visa to study in Korea.

Visa documents, including those needed for the Visa interview, will be sent to the Home Institution.
